A Tribe Called Quest is still winning awards well into the teenage years of their music career, but now they’re branching out. The hip hop group–that has been entertaining for the better part of 20 year–recently found themselves the recipients of an award for a documentary chronicling their careers. The Los Angeles Film Festival awarded Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature. The film is set to open on July 8th.
