Mark your calendars: at the next DUMBO First Thursday art walk, the MBP minigallery will show images from Mike Schreiber’s True Hip-Hop. Drawn from Schreiber’s celebrated portraits—which have appeared in Rolling Stone, VIBE, XXL, and Spin, among other places—the photos in True Hip-Hop display some of hip-hop’s biggest names in an undeniably raw and honest manner. Come by, have a beer, and see why M.I.A., Biz Markie, Eminem, and others got in front of Schreiber’s lens. Refreshments will be served. The details:
