A new graffiti collective called Slavery has taken to the streets of New York City to pay homage to graffiti from another era. The artists that make up slavery take original tags and change them to, some might say, more thought provoking characters. Blade has become Plato, Dondi is now Gandhi and the eerie “Hand of Doom” has been updated to the more uplifting “Joan of Arc.”
Smart, historical and easy on the eyes. We like you Slavery.
