It’s not even Halloween yet, but we’re still going to tell you about an exhibit being planned for Art Basel Miami in December. The uncreatively named group show by curators we’d rather not mention, will feature artwork on billboards and basketballs from the likes of COPE2, EWOK, SKEWVILLE, Sofia Maldonado, and a whole slew of others because, according to the presser, “Urban culture has always had a love affair with the game of basketball.” All the work is for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to NBA Cares. The Art of Basketball, December 2 – 5, 2010 2048 NW Miami Court, Miami.
