In honor of their back-to-back blowout shows at Yankee Stadium here are a couple of throwback video from Jay-Z and Eminem for you. Eminem shows his Shady side in a time when he was still hopped up on all kinds of drugs. Em displayed his unique style right at the start of his career from the shocking, but tight lyrics coming from his mouth and the even more ridiculous images he chose to put in his videos. The Eminem of today is a bit more refined, but he would be nowhere without his old, beloved friend Slim Shady.
As for Jay-Z, this little known song from 1994 shows how (a much younger) Jay began his career with such impeccable flow it’s no wonder he’s still huge today. As always, Jay reps Brooklyn in one of his first ever music videos. Some things just don’t ever change.
