Bad Boy Records’ rising star lyricist King Los, who delivered arguably the strongest response to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Control” verse back in August, teams up with Indianapolis’ Mark Battles for Broken Silence. The mixtape is a nice way to end a fruitful year for Los, who is capable of crafting intricate bars on par with some of the best wordsmiths around, and some good exposure for Battles. All that, as well as assistance from high profile features like Wale and Ab-Soul, make up a project that should keep underground fans satisfied going into 2014. Download or stream it below.
