New York native and rock artist Jon Robert Byrne wants to help the world put down their phones and dance. He’s since turned that phrase into a melodic tune with his song “Get Off The Phone”.
In the record, Byrne details the casual morning routine of waking up and checking social media thus showcasing how addicted we are becoming to the validation we receive from these platforms. Moving along into the chorus, Byrne reminds everyone that all you have to do is get off the phone and experience life or just dance, to have a good time.
Using the school environment as his canvas, Byne effortlessly shows the struggle that some adults have with reaching their kids and the kid’s excitement of being on their phones. It all comes to halt, however, with a showdown outside the school with the adults against the children.
