Beyonce came out with her fifth self-titled album, Beyonce, that was released four years ago today. The visual album is a 14 track project along with 14 videos followed by it. It was inspired by a short film to illustrate her songs and production. It includes various feminist topics and the up and down results of falling in love.
During the time she was on tour, she was sculpting a pristine body of work. Also after her night of performing in Kentucky, the 30 second promo visual album was released on her Instagram video. The album was a secret since it was unexpected from her. It was released on iTunes without any promotion or announcement. Above all else, she shook the charts as it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard charts that weekend by selling over 800, 000 copies worldwide. It became the fastest-selling album in history in iTunes at the point. That next year, it had a platinum edition after her release of “7/11.”
