Brooklyn’s Azia drops a brand new visual for her single “Pull Up On Ya.” The carribean-tinged anthem is brazen and gutty, with Azia taking viewers to the trenches. Paying homage to her Haitian roots, she integrates the history of Voodoo, a cultural rooting that many slaves often called upon for spiritual freedom and enlightenment.
Azia makes it clear that voodoo is not the negative connotation of “black magic” that people often assume but rather a jovial culturally enriched vital spark.
Peep the visual and feel free to drop us your thoughts in the comments section.
