This is dope: Tee Grizzley has been keeping the streets fed with some of the realest, evocative music of his generation…his latest involves the turmoil of his city’s past.
Below lies “Teetroit,” a track and visual with also acts as the 300 Entertainment signee’s contribution to the forthcoming film Detroit, based on the now-infamous riots that happened in The Motor City in the 60’s. The clip sees city residents from that period (including actual witnesses of the 12th Street Riot), as Tee’s performance is interspersed with images and footage of the carnage. Page Kennedy and others also make appearances.
