It seems like Virginia-based artist GoldLink has influenced his area (or introduced us to his area’s vibes) in regards to creating dancefloor-ready, genre-bending Hip-Hop. Case in point: RoeShamBeaux — which consists of rapper JayTheHomie and producer Mikey Sol — have a new track titled “Playground,” which follows the well-received (and awesomely-titled) “Tequila Toes.”
According to the press release, “Playground” is “a powerful ode to the unknown and unspoken,” a message which the duo (alongside production assistance from Noah Kenton, Vin Atlas and 4-ill) manage to deliver in effortless fashion via their individual styles.
