Meet Robinho– a Panamanian reggae artist that’s captured the hearts of many reggae music fans. Inspired by the sounds of many American artists, the 29-year-old has been a stand out amongst his peers through his unique style of music. When he first entered the music scene he didn’t feel like there was a spot for him being that his lyrics are based on real and deep scenarios like falling in love, heartbreak, and even personal trials and tribulations.
Prior to Robinho being a solo artist, he was the official DJ for a popular group in Panama named Black Community. When he decided that he wanted to release music himself he quickly made his way to the front of the group. Since then, he’s been consistently dropping music all while keeping a close-knit friendship with the community. His records like “Cuentale” and “Carta A Mi Ex” has highlighted some of his biggest qualities such as being an electrifying performer and songwriter.
With his strong team Limited Edition Records behind him, Robinho is on his way to an abundance of success. The 507 artist is currently riding the momentum of his newly released music video for his single “Escapate Conmigo.” Just a few days after its big drop on YouTube, it has already surpassed 27,000+ views. With all the consistent and genuine love he receives from his loyal followers, it is clear this artist can’t go anywhere but up. Robinho hopes his music reaches far beyond the ears of the Latin music world. With his complete package of substance, charisma, uniqueness, and penmanship we don’t see why that dream wouldn’t come to life. Check out his music on all streaming platforms and watch a few of his videos below.
