Fresh off the release of a new record and a major announcement regarding an upcoming EP, NYC MC Odali unleashes his highly anticipated visual for his lead single “Yemenites.”
“Yemenites,” from his LGHTHD-produced Play At the Park EP is an adrenalized visual that gives everyone a taste of what’s to come. The neat visual starts off with Odali repping his hometown by wearing his NY baseball cap as he spits his lyrics in front of the Marcy AV subway station. He then transitions into multiple daylight scenes that show off his city. The video shot by Joseph D’Aleo is inspired by the likes of bodega establishments scattered throughout New York City which is largely ran by Yemen immigrants. He successfully gives the listener a sense of where he comes from.
Be on the lookout for Odali’s upcoming Play At The Park EP. Also, go ahead and watch the crisp visual for “Yemenites” below.
