DJ Khaled‘s upcoming album Grateful is sure to have many talented featured artists on it which already include Beyoncé and Jay Z, and that list now officially includes Nicki Minaj.
Confirmed on his Instagram, Khaled wrote:
AYO JUAN! Turn @nickiminaj vocals up ! #GRATEFUL THE ALBUM ITS COMING ! @wethebestmusic@epicrecords @rocnation ???? please keep EveryTING Top Secret! FAN LUV #GRATEFUL ITS COMING !
This will not be the first time the two artists have collaborated: as Complex points out, Minaj also worked with Khaled on “Do You Mind” from his latest album Major Key and appeared alongside Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne for “Take It To The Head” from Kiss The Ring.
Minaj is not the only big name to appear on the upcoming Grateful album, as Khaled seems to take great joy from making posts with or about auspicious collaborators, as seen below:
While he teases his multitudes of fans, everything is labeled with the rather playful “top secret” and not all of those who have appeared on the DJ’s Instagram have been confirmed as having a spot on the album. In the meantime, fans can keep track of who may or may not be featured via Khaled’s social media.
Grateful is scheduled to be released May 19th.
