RESPECT. Premiere: Corr Kendricks – “Trapped” (Audio)

Born in Kanakee, Illinois, Corr Kendricks grew up enjoying the “Golden Era” of Hip-hop, R&B, Pop, and Soul. Using poetry as an escape from the trials and tribulations that encompassed his life, including losing his cousin, Corr Kendricks decided to start writing music and eventually, chose to share his story with the masses.

You may already be familiar with Kendricks from touring with Yazz The Greatest, or his featured role on FOX’s hit show “EMPIRE” in the role of Black Rambo.

With passionate lyricism Kendricks’ music is genre-bending, and a reflection of his everyday hurt and growth. Today, Corr Kendricks follows up his Fred The Godson-featured “Demeanor” single, with a new anthem titled “Trapped.” Grabbing some thumping production from L.T. Moe (MGK, Ghostface Killah, Ludacris), Kendricks uses a couple flows to remind us everyone he’s working overtime on this boastful cut.

Fans can expect even more tracks in the near future, followed by a project in March 2017. You can also see Corr Kendricks in the near future on NBC’s “Chicago P.D.”

Stream “Trapped” at the very top of the post and feel free to leave us your thoughts in the comments section.
