Donald Glover, a true renaissance man, never ceases to amaze us with his various talents. Rapper, actor, singer, producer, director and most recently— Critics Choice Award winner Glover has spread his multiple talents across music, film, and where he got his start in Hollywood— in television.
Last night, Childish Gambino (Donald Glover’s music alias) was the musical guest on Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Glover went totally left field when he abandoned his raps for a style unfamiliar to his fan base. Childish Gambino’s most recent album “Awaken, My Love!” is a soulful, R&B, occasional rock-influenced album released earlier this month. The ’70s vibe carried a heavy presence all over the project.
He performed on Fallon stripped down in nothing but glittery silver pants backed by a live band. Check out Donald Glover as Childish Gambino performing the standout track “Redbone.”
