‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ Trailer Released [WATCH]

Underworld fans around the world were treated to the release of the first trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars. The film starts Kate Beckinsale, Theo James, Charles Dance, Lara Pulver, Tobias Menzies and more.

As per IMDB.com, “the next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.”

In this first glimpse at the film we see Selene back at war with the Lycans. The Lycans are becoming stronger under their new leader Marius (played by Tobias). In hopes to keep the Vampire Faction alive Thomas calls upon Selene to help the coven. However, some members of the coven still do not trust her; she did fall in love and have a child with Michael, a hybrid (half human/half Lycan), and betray them. Fortunately for the coven, Selene is willing to help. Little does she know that her blood is the key to making the Lycans, and possibly the Vampires, stronger. This may be her ultimate demise.

We also are introduced to a second Selene in this trailer. This version of our heroine has the ability to disappear or teleport. Is this actually a carbon-copy of Selene or is this her daughter Eve all grown up? If it is Eve, is this one of her hidden abilities?
