SNL Recap: Checkout Some of Drake’s Hilarious Skits

Last night, Drake was both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The Canadian did a pretty impressive job, giving the audience and fans a good amount of laughs. Drizzy even came out with a fresh shaved face that has stirred up some disappointment from the beard-loving ladies. He certainly showed his dedication and preparedness for the show Saturday night.

SNL creatively used great material that we all were aware of, such as the many memes’s of Drake that have been all across social media. The skits were also tied in with his musical talents that he gives us consistently. Mr. Graham lyrically spoke out on how his feelings are hurt from many memes and Rihanna makes appearance during the song (you’ll understand once you see it).

We all know Drake doesn’t take disrespect too kindly, Meek Mill was prime example of that. Well, Drizzy seems to get into a few altercations with the cast members of SNL and he’s not having it! This skit of “Drake’s Beef” shows the rapper taking everything the cast members say or do to heart. Drake definitely showed the signs of “acting light skin,” as he gets mad off the funniest reasons, so he takes his feelings and throws them into a diss for each SNL member. Mr. OVO even takes his anger out on the a janitor for throwing his bottle in trash that he wasn’t done with because he actually had about “10 sips left.” He also doesn’t take it kindly that SNL creator, Lorne Michaels told him he was doing a good job, Drake didn’t think that was enough acknowledgment.

The 6 God also gets to take it back to his homeland, as he plays a Canadian contestant on the popular SNL Black Jeopardy parody. The contestant gives positive vibes, even after constantly getting picked at by the host for his mispronunciation. The host, played by Keenan Thompson also doesn’t agree with fact that the contestant is a black Canadian nor does he like his Canadian taste.
