New Make-up Line In Store For Kelly Rowland

Wondering why it takes your girl two hours to get dressed? It’s not concocting up an outfit, that’s the easy part of the process . In the world of highlighters, lash extensions and fleeked brows, it’s the make up that takes every woman a little longer to get out the house on time and with constant make up launches that estimated time of arrival isn’t scaling back anytime soon. In fact, it looks like there’s another line we can be looking forward to adding to our collections in the near future. Melanin queen herself, Kelly Rowland is in way of gracing us with a new make up line, and we’re sure the ladies are going to be making room in their vanities for it.

Former Destiny’s Child member has had her hands full lately with a reality talent search show, a precious newborn son, and if that isn’t enough Mrs. Rowland is now extending her talents to the world of make up as well. Earlier last week at a collaborative event sponsored by Claritin & The Boys and Girls Club of America, the singer expressed that she and her make up artist are on the rise to whipping up a make up line for all the fabulous ladies of the world. Rowland expressed that the line will initially be starting up with just lashes, (which who can be upset at that – every woman loves a good lash) and then be expanding out to all woman; but most certainly placing some heavy emphasis on making sure she takes care of the “chocolate girls”.

Rowland went on to confess that the muse behind the conception of the idea goes to Somalian Supermodel & Icon Iman, who also has a make up line of her own that caters to deeper skin tones. Rowland is partnering up with her make up artist, Sheika Daley who has been the master behind Kellys’ face for years . Daley who has a pretty credible resume of slaying faces which include other fierce celebrities such as Zendaya, LaLa Anthony, and even Serena Williams, is certainly excited about the venture as well.
