The Roots took over The Tonight Show last night for a special performance to celebrate their 11th album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin. With help from A-Trak and the Metropolis Ensemble, the Philly group performed “Never” on an all- white stage dressed in all black. The Roots have been the house band for the show for a while, so it was nice to see them center stage. This is The Roots at their best, and we want more. Their new experimental album ...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin just dropped Tuesday, so go out and get your copy.
