Chicago’s rap artist on the rise, Zeus The Plug, drops a dope new visual for his single “Money Man” from his upcoming debut tape “My Alibi. “ The street millionaire turned MBA graduate turned rapper, details just who the “Money Man” is in every hood across America, in the creative new visual directed by Sal Thousands. Zeus The Plug gets straight to the money with lyrics like “I just went through a hunnid bands, blowing money like a f*ckin fan” and schools us on why he’s the plug with verses like “low key but his paper tall, always there when you make a call…money man got the plan, riding round with a hunnid grand. Living life, never ever have to flex, got everything you need on deck.”

The East Coast native wasted no time in dropping a new visual after releasing his latest hit single “Counting On It,” produced by The Warlord — a preview of what’s to come on his upcoming tape, with production by Jeff Lane (production engineer to Chance the Rapper, Jeremih).

The indie artist recently opened for Cash Money artist Jacquees on the Mood Tour, Jeremih and Lil Yachty at sold out shows, and will take the stage in NYC’s Times Square as one of MTV’s new artists on the rise.

Rap sensation and Chicago’s new buzzed about artist, Zeus The Plug, releases a brand new banger titled “Counting On It,” produced by The Warlord. The catchy, head banger meshes a down South feel with an East Coast influence and will undoubtedly be one of the summer’s hot new records to vibe out to. “Counting On It” is Zeus The Plug’s official new single from his highly anticipated debut mixtape “My Alibi” coming soon, introducing music lovers to his creative sonic world.

“’Counting On It’ is based on all the people who have owed me money…I can ‘count on it.’ It’s also about everything that you count on every day, the positive things that you can rely on, that won’t let you down,” Zeus explains.

The indie artist is fresh off of opening up for Cash Money recording artist Jacquees on the Mood Tour, where he garnered thousands of new fans along the way. He also recently opened for Jeremih at a sold out show in Illinois and Lil Yachty at Supernova Fest in Michigan. Zeus The Plug is preparing to release his debut tape titled “My Alibi,” executive produced by The Warlord, with production by Jeff Lane (production engineer to Chance the Rapper, Jeremih).

“When people listen to my new project, I want them to see an articulate rapper talking about real life experiences. I came into the game on Boss status already…I made money and was living like a boss before I started creating music. I want my music to motivate people to get out there and feel like they can achieve anything – make money, be successful, be the best versions of themselves…” notes Zeus, who holds an MBA degree and credits his interest in Finance and Music for pulling him out of the street life.

Zeus The Plug who is currently residing in Chicago, is traveling from the Chi to L.A. for recording purposes. Although he’s transitioning through these areas, the NY fitted doesn’t leave his head.

“I never wear any other fitted… I stay with that. No Dodgers hats,” Zeus said in an interview recently with Super Star Jay & Gray Rizzy.

Zeus continues the output of music, as he says he’s fully investing into himself and his craft at the moment. The music is what brings him happiness, so he’s letting these tracks come to light. Today, he let’s his “D.A.B.” record take centerstage.

“I’m just the plug baby,” Zeus repeats in the opening lines of the song. The production for the song is playful and provides a relaxed tempo to just vibe to. Overall the song is mellow representation of Zeus. He doesn’t shy away from the vocal aspect, but keeps it to a minimum on this one.

The topics that Zeus raps about is also true music. This allows the listener to connect to him much easier.

Not much time passes by without Zeus The Plug dropping some much needed music for us to vibe to. The rapper is back at again with his new track, “Money Man,” and it is perfect timing since he is celebrating his birthday!

The Warlord-produced track is the perfect follow-up to Zeus’ recently released song, “Come Join Us.” You can hear Zeus rapping over the catchy beat:

“Man, they always want to meet him/But you got to be plugged in/First you got to meet his cousin/Keep it low like an oven/Livin’ life/Never ever have to flex/Got everything you need on deck.”
