Shreveport, Louisiana rapper Yung Martez returns to the music scene with a hot new EP titled Certain Moments. Raised in the streets of 5th Ward, Texas, his rough upbringing led to him pursuing a career in music. On his latest release he does an excellent job of giving listeners a timeless body of work reminiscent of his stead fast sound. 
 
Within 16 tracks Martez serves up some of his most impressive bars to date. Certain Moments comes as a follow up to his “When I Call,” single that garnered him a lot of buzz in the industry. His upcoming mixtape STRUGGLE 2 SUCCESS RELOADED houses a number of hits from street sounds to music for the ladies. Hosted by HollyHood Bay Bay & Kiotti this release will feature OG Hip Hop heads Scarface, Slim Thug, Paul Wall. Lil KeKe, Beat King and Chedda Da Connect also make appearances on Martez’s forthcoming project. Young Dolph, Shun Ward and Brian Angel of Day 26 also make guest appearances on the mixtape.

Houston’s own Yung Martez releases a very special promotional shoot and video with the urban street-wear brand AKOO. Grammy award winning artist T.I. founded the brand as a revolutionized movement. He encourages the society of men committed to being “A King Of Oneself” – like Martez.

Recently, Martez released a mixtape called “Struggle 2 Success Reloaded.” This houses a number of hits from street sounds to music for the ladies – hosted by HollyHood Bay Bay & Kiotti. It also has a number of different features including heavy hitters like Scarface, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Lil KeKe, and more!

Houston is home to many of Hip Hop’s legends: UGK, Slim Thug, and Scarface to name a few. Today, we receive a new body of work titled Struggle 2 Success Reloaded from one of H Town’s rising acts, Yung Martez. 18-tracks long, Yung Martez offers a variety of tunes, from street anthems, to jams for the ladies, that everyone can enjoy. Hosted by Texas radio personalities HollyHood Bay Bay and Kiotti, Martez keeps it trill and grabs Lil Keke, Scarface, Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Trae The Truth, Chedda Da Connect, Young Dolph and more for guest verses.

On songs like “I Wonder,” where Martez is introspective, reflecting on his hard upbringing, his lyrics truly shine. Despite the impressive list of features, Yung Martez holds his own and proves why he is slated as next to blow from Houston.
