What better way could you envision enjoying the swanky Atlanta nightclub scene in the early mornings than with tasty food, a cold alcoholic beverage and a listening party for a rising Atlanta artist?

I’ll wait!

Atlanta’s SL Lounge was the place to be late Monday night/early Tuesday morning as rising Atlanta artist, 5AM hosted Breakfast With 5 AM, a consortium that included industry heavyweights, DJs, writers and other tastemakers that afforded folks the opportunity to vibe, eat, drink and listen.

And listen they did!

Breakfast With 5 AM, brought to you by the good folks at 1865 Management and Interscope Records, afforded 5 AM the opportunity to carry his momentum following the release of his 8-track introduction. The rising star has reason to humble brag, his discography includes collaborations with notables like TM88, Jim Jones, and Pierre Bourne.

The event, which began at 11:59 PM and ended at 3:00 AM had delectable food offerings with mimosas being the fan favorite while grooving to the sounds of 5AM.

5 AM has garnered musical comparisons to The Weekend, PND & more. He’s on the right track. The artist has accrued 2 million streams on all platforms for his Meek Mill co-signed single ” Only One.”

With the success of his project “EUPHORIA”, he’s finding it easier to connect with his fans through his music morphing them into loyal listeners.

The best is yet to come.

Young Thug continues to be the epitome of a great artist. This time with some help from Quavo, Offset and Young Scooter, Young Thug manages to turn his 2016 Gucci Mane dedicated song, “Guwop,“ into a star studded event.

Three weeks into 2017 and Young Thug has already released two visuals back to back from his 2016 album JEFFERY which can only mean that we should expect lots of Young Thug in 2017.  Everything about “Guwop” screams Atlanta while the video gives us all a in-depth look at the backstage tour life of Young Thug and friends.

“Everyday I’m like FREE GUCCI!” Time and time again, the industry’s favorite Atlanta emcee, Gucci Mane, always finds away to keep his fans in anticipation of his release by dropping bars while behind bars.  Flooding the streets with music from jail is nothing new for the originator of “Lemonade.” But this time he followed the new trend in the music industry by releasing an unannounced an album this morning.

The album titled, Meal Ticket has a heavy 36-track list. It is a combination of his three previous projects: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, & Dessert. Meal Ticket includes features from iLoveMakonnen, OGD, Young Scooter, Waka Flaka Quavo, Sy Ari Da Kid, Fredo Santana, Chief Keef, Reese, Andy Milokanis, and Rich the Kid.

Reportedly, the incarcerated rapper is set to be free in September and has a tour already scheduled. Maybe this is his attempt to feed the streets until he is a free man. Or maybe he’s trying to free up some space on his hard drive to give us more music. Either way it goes, we are going to be set for a while with these 36-tracks.
