Emerging as one of the freshest voices in hip-hop is Philadelphia dweller, Young Goldie; A rising lyricist who shares relatable street tales about his city, his surroundings, his homies and himself. Through his music, Goldie paints an image of what it’s like to be a young black man in Modern America. His catchy chorus melodies are backed up by his precisely penned rap verses well paired with the proper production. Already highly regarded by the likes of RocNation and Jadakiss, the Philly upstart promises to remain at the forefront of hip-hop for a long time to come.

His most recent offering, “Boyz N The Hood” is Goldie’s first distributed single and will be the first release for Brewery Recording and FBAU Records through Red Distribution. The single is also set to be featured on his forthcoming EP, which is anticipated for a Summer 16 release.

2015 has proven to be a great year for Austin Music Group artist Young Goldie. The Baltimore rapper released his new album Dream Come True last month, which included the standout single “Be Yourself” featuring Young Dolph. Having also crafted some solo heat with his recent project, Goldie revisits the LP and provides the official lyric video for the newest single “Checks.” Goldie has tackled topics ranging from staying true to yourself, to social issues in his city, but today we hear the young rhymer flexing his money making skills while disregarding anyone trying to test him. Ever since signing with Tony Austin’s Austin Music Group imprint, Baltimore artist YoungGoldie has been steadily gaining traction in his city and has begun the expansion outside of the region.
