Frank Vocals ended his year off strong entering into 2020. The Boston indie artist recently dropped “You” produced by GxWay. This was his first and only release of 2019. The song is a heavy mix of soulful futuristic vibes.

As always, Frank uses a direct, yet unique, graceful flow. It’s an approach that compliments GxWay’s music production. The results are melodies that are distinct and not cliche. Mr. Slow Flow has been real busy the last couple weeks, if he’s not hopping on records with other emcees he’s been hard at work finishing up his newest project Cats & Dogs, due out 9/27.  Evidence’s latest release, a track called “Fame” features Prodigy and Roc Marciano–two NY-bred emcees–over an old school, heavy beat.  The first two releases off Cats & Dogs, “You” and “Fame” have really set the bar for Evidence’s second studio album.  Nevertheless, let’s hope Evidence’s roll continues right on into next week.  Check out the joint below.

The LA-bred emcee Evidence dropped a dope video over Labor Day Weekend for “You,” a DJ Premier-produced collaboration off his latest album Cats & Dogs.  Mr. Slow Flow‘s graffiti background is evident as he takes us from the streets to the studio, and it’s clear Premier is feeling this joint.  The release of the album is set for September 27th, but if you find yourself tempted check out an album sampler HERE.
