YM Delivers “I Love When You” Single

Emerging California artist YM just released his latest single titled “I Love When You.” The impressive effort is an a fun summer vibe type of song, mixed with several hip-hop elements. It’s definitely one have you heading bopping. Moreover, “I Love When You” offers a number of catchy one-liners in addition to an electric hook reminiscent of Cali.

From homeless nights, sleeping in a caravan to just finishing a Viral High School Tour, YM has been making a name for himself. He’s grabbed many notable features from artists including Blueface, Quando Rondo and Mike Sherm to name a few. Furthermore, YM released his first album dropping last February, Heatin’ Up, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Check it out below.

New Orleans MC Capito Drops “Game 7” feat. Rich Rocka

New Orleans strikes again with another great talent on the rise. YM/OVO representer Capito releases a street anthem with plenty of lyrical content that could have you rewinding the record and catching each bar if so inclined. The song, “Game 7” comes with a feature from Rich Rocka with production handled by BatmanOnTheBeatz.

For those not in the know, Capito is known for rolling with Lil Wayne as an OG member of Young Money with deep roots in OVO. He’s rumoured to be dropping a project this year but no solid dates yet.

As for Rich Rocka, the Bay native was known to be signed to The Game back in 2006, subsequently signing with Akon‘s label Konvict Music by 2010. Fast forward, here’s a brand new heater from the two; listen to it below.

First Fetty Wap Now YM Patterson NJ Is Up Next!

Hip-hop artist YM got his stage name from a when he was called young Mike growing up. The sound is called elegant trap, most recently YM dropped an eleven track project called Trap Olympics. The mixtape came together with the help of Kilo Vision and debuted on April 20th. The duo often collaborate and the consistency in their partnership shows. Highlight include songs “Volumes” and “Nightmare on the Corner.” among others.

This project has been a long time coming, particularly considering the artists’ forced hiatus after complications from getting shot. During the recovery period YM kept trying to come back to the work but also made an effort to seek change from the neighborhood he grew up in. He got involved with music from an early age and his stepfather was a prominent drummer and believes the youth can benefit greatly from getting involved the artistry of sound.
