Cali rep, Xavier (formerly X.O.) lets us know what’s really good with his latest release, “God Sh*t”. The self-assured track has a West Coast bounce, courtesy of the Bay Area’s Kidd Upstairs, accompanied by clean and braggadocios flows of being one of Cali’s next up. The last time we heard from trio Diamond District comprised of Oddisee, yU and X.O, it was in the form of their 2009 release In The Ruff. The album garnered much well deserved praise for both their lyricism in a climate where lyricism was overly intellectual, as well as their production.  Not to mention, the album created classics that now, five years later are still getting constant rotation in the form of: “First Time” “I Mean Business” “The Shining” and more. Since that time, the trio has gone to make countless impressive solo albums but now, they are back as a unit with their upcoming LP, March on Washington.  The highly anticipated album is entirely produced and arranged by Oddisee and is available for pre-order today.  In honor of the pre-order, Diamond District is unleashing a new teaser from the album in the form of “First Step.”
