With last week’s premiere of the song, Will Brennan originally told Fader that “Interest” is a song about the spark that happens when you meet someone that you actually enjoy sharing conversation and silence with. Signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak imprint, Will Brennan is a multi-faceted artist that has created a sound and style that weaves rap, EDM, and an alternative indie sound together seamlessly. As he readies his forthcoming project Black Americana, Brennan provides the first sounds off the project titled “Smoke & Mirrors.” The new single details the fronts people put up in relationships that many of us can relate to and it comes backed by the sounds of Madeaux — a young, burgeoning producer signed to A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records. New Music: Will Brennan ft. EthniKids & Jenny Reynolds – “RNR 2.0”

These last few months, Florida-bred MC Will Brennan has become an artist tremendously on our radar. Brennan, who recently inked a deal with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, is constantly putting out something new and innovative, whether it’s a track, remix or a project. Now, Brennan hooks up with EthniKids and Jenny Reynolds to create a sequel to his track “RNR” in the form of “RNR 2.0”. For the sequel, Brennan mixes chopped and screwed vocals with trap aesthetics with Reynold’s crooning to form a fuller song than the original. Check it out below!

New Music: Will Brennan – “Bet That”

A few weeks ago, it was announced that Steve Aoki had signed Florida-bred emcee Will Brennan to his label Dim Mak. Then, we also got the new track from Brennan produced by DJ Burn One, in the form of “Pressure.” With the track, Brennan explains his mission statement telling listeners who he is and who he wishes to be. With his new track, “Bet That” Brennan hooks up with his label mate Keys N Krates for production. This track is Brennan‘s first collaboration with label mates. For the track, Brennan once again takes a introspective view talking about his transformation from child to the emcee we see today. I’m definitely a fan of Brennan and can’t wait to see what else he has coming in the works.

New Music: Will Brennan – “Pressure”

Following his last release in the form of visuals for “Let’s Play Liar Liar” to commemorate his signing with Steve Aoki’s label, Dim Mak Records, Florida grown emcee Will Brennan is releasing his new track “Pressure.” For the song, Brennan hooks up with producer DJ Burn One for a song blending a Regina Spektor sample with a New Orleans vibe. The production of the song also contains a live guitar solo by Ricky Fontaine and keyboard solo laid out by Walt Live. The song as Brennan explains is a mission statement speaking to who he is and who he wants to be.

New Video: Will Brennan – “Let’s Play Liar Liar”

Will Brennan may not be a name that you’re familiar with, but the Atlanta-by-way-of-Florida-based MC is hoping to change that. With four projects currently under his belt, Brennan just inked a publishing and licensing deal with Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. To coincide with the announcement of the publishing deal, Brennan released his new mixtape More Perfect Union. From the release, Brennan is giving fans his latest visual installment in the form of the Julian Cruz produced “Let’s Play Liar Liar.” Brennan has some good stuff in store for 2013 including the re-release of his The Prodigal Son EP.
