Over dark and menacing production, Why Fi and Svnti gives us an in-depth look into the numerous pressures they experience in their everyday lives. Why Fi returns with a new release that sends a very positive message to his listeners.

It’s a very busy summer for the California based rapper as he’s basically living in the studio staying on his grind cooking up more weekly heat. Last week he dropped off his track “Right Reasons,” and we’ve been hooked since then. His music is so addicting we just had to keep tabs on him.

As the fifth installment to Why Fi’s weekly segment entitled ASENTIAL Wednesdays, the Maryland native drops off his new record “The New” (ft. Zotowski), where he embraces all the challenges life has thrown at him.

“Out with the old and in with the new yeah, was out in the cold but I made it through yeah, some friends turn to foes and that’s just true yeah, so its out with the old and in with the new yeah.”

Aside from dropping hot new records every Wednesday, Why Fi also attaches a Vlog and podcast with every release. Through the audio and visual content, he let’s his listeners in on his thoughts and creative process behind the music. Check out the new song, podcast, and Vlog below.

As the fourth installment to Why Fi’s weekly segment entitled ASENTIAL Wednesdays, the Maryland native, turned California-based rapper shares “Right Reasons,” a very hype and anthemic record.

“Yea I’ve done a lot of wrong things for the right reasons do this sh*t for my day ones long as I’m breathing,” he rhymes on the hook.

Over Dejuan Crooks production, the artist shares a track that anyone can relate to. Why Fi tells a tale of fighting adversity, overcoming the struggles of living day to day, and being faced with the dilemma of doing the wrong things for the right reasons. By now, everyone should know the deal: Why Fi is a true lyricist with a very solid pen game. With the hypnotizing flute behind the hook, the song is certainly infectious and is smothered in replay value.
