Contrary to popular belief, not every rapper is down for groupie love. Chris Rivers being one of them. Over a classic Domino instrumental (“Sweet Potato Pie”), Chris proceeds to ether women “livin’ on their knees” for a fame and/or the coveted child support check. While he could’ve just left it at that, Chris continues to spit game, letting any “slor” that might be listening know that they need to pick up a Bible and some self-respect while they’re at it. Chris Rivers and Whispers Honor “Straight Outta Compton” Release with “Straight G Check”

As if the release of the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton wasn’t enough to make it an epic weekend, the BX’s Chris Rivers teams up with his right hand, Whispers to pay homage to the group with, “Straight ‘G’ Check”. Borrowing beats from N.W.A.’s “Chin Check” and Dr. Dre‘s “Nuthin But A ‘G’ Thang”, Chris and Whispers do both tracks justice with nimble lyricism and ultra G vocals that would make Dr. Dre proud.
