With an unorthodox, yet animated flow MARTY & BERLIN…! is certainly unique, but may remind listeners of a blend of Earl Sweatshirt, Alex Wiley, and Father, both sonically and visually. Shot by slzysavage, “Whip…!” offers a Kanye West-inspired chorus and some impressive lyricism from MARTY & BERLIN…! as well as Hoppesangen, who uses his guest verse to spit about authenticity. One may argue that the visual has no real concept, other than to introduce their distinctive style to the world.
