DJ Khaled is a busy guy these days!

Before participating in the Roc Nation Sports celebrity basketball game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY  the producer and DJ spoke about his involvement with One Shot, the upcoming reality  tv show airing on BET.

DJ Khaled’s sat down with CBS Radio’s Brown and Scoop and discussed Major Key album, snap chat, baby on the way. 

One shot is hosted by Sway Calloway with starring judges Mike Smith, Kxng Crooked of Eminem’s Slaughterhouse and King Tech from SiriusXM Shade 45. Celebrity guest judges include DJ Khaled, T.I., RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Twista, DJ Drama, Tech N9ne and more. Comedic media personality Jack Thriller is also involved with this BET original television program, airing August 23rd.

Khaled Caught Up With Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson on the red carpet of the Roc Nation Summer Classic Celebrity Basketball Game and talked about his involvement in the project.

 DJ Khaled has been giving us an excess of epic moments as of late. On the heels of his latest album release I Changed a Lot, the We the Best DJ domineered the OVO Sound Radio airwaves to motivate listeners while looking back at his earlier days. Curating an inspirational mix, Khaled gives listeners a look into his journey to becoming the WAR READY artist of special cloth he is today.

DJ Khaled releases the second single off his eight studio album I Changed A Lot and he brings some of R&B’s hip-hop hottest men along for the ride. Chris Brown, August Alsina, Future and Jeremih collaborate on the track singing to their respective ride or die women. The cut is real smooth and it’s nice to see camaraderie amongst some of the hottest talent in the game. The video has already been shot by Gil Green and is slated to drop this week. DJ Khaled always brings the party to Miami and this time he does it with his baller friends for the “They Don’t Love You No More” video. Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and French Montana get their stunt on in the Gil Green-directed video. Meek and his crew roll around with the bikes, while Rozay and Khaled enjoy a game of golf and then head to the court by the water filled with beautiful women. Jay Z didn’t make a cameo for the video but he was probably too busy working on his Beyonce tour or dropping cologne or releasing a soda or whatever else he has going on. Khaled is gearing up to release his eight studio album I Changed A Lot later on this year. Join the party below.

Ace Hood is the most successful artist, other than DJ Khaled, signed to the We The Best label imprint, under the Cash Money Records umbrella. The rapper is a native of Deerfield Beach, FL and raps about the hard life struggle and hustle that one has to go through while trying to make a living in his city, as well as the responsibilities that come along with it. Hood, who has released three albums (Gutta, Ruthless and Blood, Sweat & Tears) on Def Jam Records, has always been the underdog compared to big Def Jam stars like Kanye West, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Nas and The Dream. Those seven Def Jam artists have something that Ace Hood does not: at least one gold or platinum album or single.

Ace Hood, who has never put a out a lukewarm album, is back with a new label home: We The Best/Cash Money.  The new single selection appears on Hood‘s Body Bag Vol. 2 mix-tape.  It features R&B singer Trey Songz and is titled, “I Need Your Love.” All about finding the right significant other to enjoy life with forever, the track is a continuation from where Ace‘s “Body 2 Body” single left off. Hood tells a story about a young man in a bad relationship, looking to find the woman that will eventually make him happy.
