We’re just hours away from the highly anticipated seventh studio album from Kanye West, and the rapper/producer narrows down the album’s title and tracklist. West wasn’t able to make up his mind regarding the albums title, which now has earned it’s fourth title since its initial announcement. We’ve gone from “So Help Me God,” to “SWISH,” then “WAVES,” and finally “The Life of Pablo.”

In a tweet that read “Final track list for The Life Of Pablo” West revealed the projects name, that was left unknown for the past 48 hours.

Sadly in the final hours it seems that Ye had some last minute changes to the tracklist as “No More Parties in LA” featuring Kendrick Lamar, and “Waves” has gone missing from the last draft of the 10 track LP.

“The Life of Pablo” is expected to drop February 11th.

When Kanye West announced his new highly anticipated album is now titled WAVES, everyone had an opinion. Some thought it was dope, others thought he was perpetrating and not showing proper respect to the founder of the movement, Max B.  Since the ruckus has died down ( Khalifa & West have reportedly made amends now) Max B, who is currently serving a 75-year sentence for armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and murder, recently called into Power 105’s the Breakfast Club from prison to discuss how he feels about the incident:

It’s all love. I appreciate it. I’m flattered that dudes is even acknowledging the situation. Everybody know I’m an innovator. Everybody know I got imagination. I come up with these words and these slogans and these catch phrases and it’s all good when the people follow suit. I like Kanye, I appreciate it. I love it, thank you.

Although he lacks a relationship with West,  the wavy curator  isn’t offended by the album title.

He ain’t drop a diss record, he just called his album WAVES. And everybody know I’m the wavy daddy

Bigavelli appreciated Wiz’s efforts, though for acknowledging his work and defending him.

Wiz good people. I never met Wiz neither, but he good people.

Max B also explains DJ Scoob Doo’s Waves documentary has no affiliation with his camp and does not have his blessing, but confirms that he does have a documentary coming soon. He ended the call shouting out his family and friends — including French Montana.

Kanye West has been hyping up his forthcoming album “Waves” on social media and it looks like he is bringing some dope visuals to a theater near you. On Monday (Feb. 1), the rapper-producer announced that his album will be streamed at theaters worldwide on Feb. 11 the same day he also unveils his Yeezy Season 3 collection.

West will present his new album and his clothing line at Madison Square Garden as part of New York Fashion Week. Also,  Italian contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft will perform at the event as well. Tickets are currently on sale at tickets.kanyewest.com.

According to reports, “Waves” will be streamed in 25 countries, including Australia, Spain and Switzerland. In New York, the event will begin at 4PM ET.

West revealed several track lists of his “Waves” album, which could possibly include rap features from A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Andre 3000, Kid Cudi, Chance the Rapper and many others.Hopefully, there will be more information regarding the cover art and track list in the coming days.

All of the hype leaves us wondering if “Waves” will be a star-studded project? We don’t know because we haven’t received an official track list as of yet. But hopefully, all of these rap superstars will make an appearance on West’s upcoming album. In the meantime, Kanye West is set to release “Waves” on Feb. 11. Two days after its release, Yeezy is set to perform on Saturday Night Live for the 7th time in his career.

After recently announcing the screening of his upcoming seventh album, at Madison Square Garden (coinciding with season 3 of his Yeezy collection), Kanye West has once again changed the title, according to his Twitter account.

This is the album’s third title change. If you recall, the initial title was So Help Me, God, followed by SWISH, and now WAVES. The “album of the life” isn’t scheduled to drop until February 11th, which gives Yeezy ample time to name it something else; which he probably will.

On the inspiration behind Wave[s]:

“Wave[s] was something that was inspired by not wanting to alter the music to fit a concept. But wanting to allow the music to stand as we felt or we recorded it. That was the goal with Wave[s], we wanted to create feelings. It was originally going to be called Feels but to stick with the water concept, I called it Wave[s]. We wanted to pay attention to doing something different with the sound and exploring elements of music that we thought would make things more fun and felt as opposed to just heard.”

On the album artwork by Hayveyah McGowan:

“I’m a person who didn’t give a lot of time to artwork for songs. Looking at the music and how we were trying to elevate the quality of that, we felt like we needed to elevate the quality of the artwork as well. So Hayveyah, I enlisted and commissioned pieces from by sending her the music at a very early stage. One song at a time so she wouldn’t get distracted by the others and had her paint to the music based on what she felt.

“It [Alchemy] was really heavy with the metaphors so I felt like I needed to be more conceptual with this piece at the time. I was studying Egyptian art and the study of pyramids and how they connected to the sun.”

On working together:

“I didn’t really tell her anything at all. I would just be like ‘Make sure you’re listening to this song only when you paint’. She’d be asking me questions and I’d be like ‘Is that what you want to do?’ [Laughs] I really wanted it to be completely up to her. So whenever I got paintings back , luckily I loved them, but even if I didn’t I wouldn’t have been like ‘Oh, we need to do this one again’. I really wanted it to be her interpretation of whatever she felt.”
