Touchmoney Cease Pays Tribute to Fred Da Godson | #TheAltWithMel

Not long ago the Hip Hop community lost a bight light in Fred Da Godson due the Corona Virus. Thsi comes on the heels of his new album ‘Paycheck‘ that was released in March.

Touchmoney Cease, of the Touchmoney Militia, pays tribute to the late, great Bronx emcee Fred the Godson by re-releasing the official music video for their collaboration titled “Warriors.”

With the NBA Finals prolongoing to a game 5 after the heroics of the Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving’s 40 points and LeBron James’ triple double in game 4, the NBA Finals shifts back to Oakland, where the Warriors won the first two games of the series.

The Cleveland Cavaliers avoided a sweep in the NBA Finals Friday night, beating the Golden State Warriors 137 -116. The Cavs handed the Golden State Warriors their first loss of the postseason and the Warriors still hold a 3-1 lead in the series.

Mir Fontane uses the Roca Beats-produced single to not only draw a handful of similarities between him and the Golden State Warriors guard, but to draw parallels between the grittiness of living in the hood and the jungle.
