In this visual, you’ll catch Bert covering Warren G while Ernie takes on Nate Dogg’s parts. Ernie and Bert are mugged, find themselves some hunnies and in the end, make it out safely from the dangers of the hood. The video is quite hilarious and probably the best one so far. And at the end they pay homage to the late Nate Dogg, who passed away in 2011.

Hip-hop veteran, Warren G stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show to chop it up a bit on everything from wanting to go to USC to learn how to write music to his thoughts on his stepbrother, Dr. Dre’s biopic, Straight Outta Compton During the short interview Warren also got into his fear of putting out wack music and how his 1994 classic “Regulate” was recorded in an apartment building in Long Beach, that  held only his studio, dog and bed. It’s been 20 years and Warren G‘s Regulator…G Funk Era still gets the people excited. The West Coast legend recently sat down with DJ Skee to discuss the impact of the 1994 album release, getting started in the industry with his older brother Dr. Dre and his connection with Snoop Dogg, which dates back to elementary school. Warren states that he never thought the music would get as big as it has. “I was just in love with music,” he says. “Just doing it and wanted the local people to hear it, but some how some way it caught on and blew up.” Watch the interview below.

Warren G is set to drop his new EP, Nate Dogg and Warren G, this summer. Now, we get the first taste of the project which features an unreleased hook from the late Nate Dogg. The EP is said to feature several more unheard choruses from the West Coast crooner. That’s always a reason to celebrate. The song is available for purchase on iTunes now.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be headlining this year’s Coachella, but they won’t be alone. It has already been announced that Warren G and Eminem will join the rappers during their set, but now a very special guest will also be in attendance. Nate Dogg is set to perform on stage, via hologram. The late West Coast legend is set to perform a medley of songs, using the same technology that had Mariah Carey perform across Europe last year. Following Nate’s death, Eminem paid tribute to him during several of his concerts last summer. It will be very interesting to see how they incorporate the spirit of the crooner this time around.
