Miami Florida upstart, WarLok, joins forces with long time comrade, and Brooklyn transplant (by way of Chicago), St. Larok. The two emcees speak on their passions – especially for Hip Hop – and what drives them to remain resilient in the game.

The soundscape, produced by St. Larok and mixed/mastered by Miami Beat Wave, is driven by a soulful sample laid over heavy kicks, and airy snares – reviving an era that remains loved – and missed – despite the evolving sounds of Hip Hop.

“The Passion” is the first offering from WarloK’s 1997 EP.

”I’m doing this for my mother, father, sisters, and my brothers. Middle finger to the system that never loved us and never plugged us with no benefits.”
