<p>Singer and Love &amp; Hip Hop star Amina Buddafly not only has the illest accent ever, she’s also a student of her craft.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to Wetpaint.com’s Afiya Augustine, Buddafly, born Aminata Schmahl, was one of the three members in the group Black Buddafly. That group consisted of her twin sister Jazz and older sister Sophie. Sophie left the group in 2006 and the group became a duo. After much success in their home country, the sisters came to the States and landed a deal with mega mogul Russell Simmons. The sisters had a smash hit with the song “Rock-A-Bye,” and their second single, “Bad Girl” with rapper Fabolous, ended up on the soundtrack for the movie </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Waist Deep</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Buddafly caught up with me on <a href="http://ScoopBRadio.com">Scoop B Radio</a> and discussed her musical influences, being indie, separating her musical talent from Love &amp; Hip Hop and her Mymusic album.</span></p>
