V. Cha$e and Kid Art (Cheers Club) team up for “Hot,” the newest drop from their upcoming “Trapper Keeper” project. The two NY rhymers display individual guile as well as artistic cohesion, spitting crafty bars over a key-heavy instrumental fit for a piano bar – it’s brilliant. I’ve grown to expect a lot from Cha$e and company and “Hot” certainly delivers. Let’s hope the visual is already in the works.

The Albanian-born, Brooklyn-raised MC G4shi has been making a lot of noise lately. After recently dropping his much-awaited full-length project “4Play“, G4shi has taken to the “Sway In The Morning” show to help promote the new mixtape and spit some verses.

Check the video up above to briefly hear him speak about his roots in Africa, the grassroots approach he’s taken to constructing his fan base, and even get his single “You Want It” (video directed and edited by Jawney Qvest) played on the radio.

Cheer$ Club capo Vinny Cha$e is back with more free music for the masses. Believed to be the final mixtape the Harlem rapper releases prior to his Epic Records debut, King’s Landing is 18 tracks of his signature sound, complete with production from Kid Art, Young Chop, Don Cannon and others. We also get guest verses from Waka Flocka, Yo Gotti and, most notably, Ma$e. Hot 97 has officially announced the headliners for Summer Jam 2013. Housed at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, the twentieth incarnation of the annual event will feature Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Wale, Fabolous, A$AP Rocky, Joe Budden, Miguel, 2 Chainz, the Wu-Tang Clan and French Montana.

On the village stage, which is the precursor to the main show, there will be performances by Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, A$AP Ferg, Smoke DZA, Bodega Bamz, Troy Ave, Kid Ink and Vinny Chase.
