Chi-town’s eGo has just dropped his sophomore mixtape, and it’s a banger. Tension runs high through these eight tracks, peaking over the lofty soul samples of “Vicodin Refill” featuring BA and the thunderous drums and crowded flows of “Bring the Drugs” featuring Kamryne. Another highlight is “Ridin’ Round” featuring Chance The Rapper and a dead eyed, repetitive chorus that is catchy as all hell.  Vicodin: The Prescription is only meant as a teaser before eGo releases Vicodin: The Overdose come the end of the summer.
