2015 is almost in the books and CBS Radio’s Podcast Brown And Scoop have unveiled part 1 of their Year In Review.

On this episode, the duo talk politics with Arise News anchor and former Miss America Debbye Turner Bell, who also chimed in on the Miss Universe fiasco with Steve Harvey.

For the entertainment, segment, myself and my co-host Jake Brown spoke with acclaimed journalist, author and Vice columnist Toure for this year’s happenings in pop culture.

Lastly, the pair had Rocko Rathon in studio for his take on this year in music.

Straight out of Brooklyn comes a brand new artist emerging from the underground, hoping to claim his spot as one of the most focused Hip Hop artists out of New York. HOA Bossman has been receiving a lot of love for his recently released project “L.I.F.E” including a huge cosign from the GS9 leader Bobby Shmurda promoting his links. Now Bossman has geared up the latest visuals from the project with Gritty.

The visual consists of everything that the song title eludes, director Tarela Kelvin Ebiotu doing his best to catch New York’s gritty essence as effortlessly as possible. The song itself has real somber attitude to it, Bossman make numerous threats in a chilling tone in project hallways, abandoned alleyways and local bodegas.

The track, produced by Nova, takes the listener into Nem’s reverie of dark, drug-addled nights past. The whole trip sounds like a dream from Miami Vice. Driving synths intercut moments of ethereal lightness behind Nem’s lyrics describing chasing paper and partying in the magic city.
