OA Marq Gets Respect With A Small Circle | #TheAltWithMel

J. Cole isn’t the only rapper who’s making a name for himself without using features. Floridian, OA Marq is working on his solo project titled ‘Therapy’ and it’s OA, no features in sight. One of them is the song “Distant”.

The 22-year-old upcoming artist has worked with some of the hottest videographers, and producers out there. Some of the videographers he’s collaborated with before are “Shootertouchfilms” and “Drewfilmedit“. The producers he has worked with, who have earned a gold plaque or two, go by “LilMexicoBeatz” & “DJVictoriouz“. He has only released 2 of the 9 songs that will encompass ‘Therapy’. The two singles that have been released are “Distant”, as mentioned earlier, and “Understand” which you can checkout below.

The Roots dropped their 11th studio album …and then you shoot your cousin today, and to help promote the project Questlove and Co. have also put out the excellent surrealist video for one of the LP’s standout tracks, “Understand.” The song is a bouncy, soulful jam featuring a particularly entertaining verse from frequent Roots collaborator Greg Porn, and the video’s use of stop motion animation makes for another creative addition to the group’s already-impressive resume.
