From producing various pieces with Mar Reynolds to producing for Two-9, Charlotte’s Brio doesn’t seem to identify with being predictable. Just moments ago, the 704 artist dropped his track “Sapphire” featuring none other than himself, bringing a very original record, yet again, to the table. No collaborations, no outside producer, it’s just solely fire. “Sapphire” is definitely nothing to sleep on.

New Mixtape: Supreme Ace – ‘Trill Influence’

Denver MC Supreme Ace has given us a handful of tracks with Tim Gent, Cyhi The Prynce, and Two 9‘s Ceej and Jace. Now, the rapper delivers his highly anticipated project, Trill Influence. Eleven tracks strong, the project boasts guest appearances from Pac Div, Dizzy Wright, Sy Ari Da Kid, Two 9, Tim Gent, Fly Union Case Arnold, and more. The production is just as diverse with Taylor Gang‘s Sledgren and RMB Justize, Ceej of Two 9, and 30 Roc of Mike Will‘s super producer group The Drumaticz all receiving credit. Ace really excels on this project and is far from being overshadowed by the various big names involved. Sit back and enjoy the chill vibes that radiate from Supreme Ace’s Trill Influence.

Atlanta’s Mar Reynolds recently dropped his new single, “I Swear” featuring Two9’s Curtis Williams for his upcoming project due to be dropping on Halloween. The single was produced by fellow rapper and producer Shac From Da 3 who performed with Mar at the AMC Bodega Festival this past July. I think it’s safe to say that this is just the beginning. Denver artist Supreme Ace recruits Tennessee native Tim Gent for a soothing new offering entitled, “Day Dreaming.” Production credits for this new track go to ATL’s Ceej of the rising crew Two-9. “Day Dreaming” is the second release off Supreme Ace’s forthcoming, Trill Influence mixtape, which is expected to be released in October. Rashaun Hampton becomes breakout-act at Charlotte concert

Earlier this month, Neighborhood Theatre — located in Charlotte, NC — held a dope concert: The 4th Off 36th World Tour .

The whole concert was split in half bringing out artists from Kirk Collins and Austin Royale to Key! (former member of Two-9) and Denzel Curry’s fellow labelmate, JK The Reaper. Media outlets like Smoker’s Club, The Fader, and many others were present to take notice of the range of talent that came out to perform.

Out of all the performances, the artist who really stood out was Charlotte’s very own Rashaun Hampton. As soon as he popped on stage during the day show with his song “Jesus Piece,” he literally only had to rap 2 bars [PAUSE] –a rare thing to happen in a local Charlotte-based event. The entire crowd truly embraced what Hampton had to offer.

Rashaun Hampton was considerably the breakout act at the concert and will definitely keep holding Charlotte’s attention as a rising artist out of the 704.
