California OG Sligh Talkbox returns to the music scene with a fire new visual for his “I Got Love” single. Featured on his G-Funk Punch album, this video was shot in Los Angeles, California tapping into the raw beauty of the city. The multitalented musician laces the bouncy West Coast vibe with a catchy talkbox hook and flavorful game on the verses as he links up with Big Havikk from LA’s legendary South Central Cartel, and members of his Midnite Playerz Krew family, Chicano rapper 40 MacaframA, New York City native Penthouse Shawn, and Cali girl Lady Z.

Without a doubt the visual captures their energy together in sunny LA, accompanied by just the right mix of “G” and fun in their lyrics as they let everyone know who and what they got love for, yet reminding the haters and fakes they aren’t to be played with. I Got Love is Sligh’s second video released off of his most recent album which dropped in late March. He’s been writing and producing Hip Hop since the mid 90s, adding his feel good lyrics and infectious hooks over G-Funk and funk rooted productions.

His 2016 LP “Sligh Boulevard” was nominated for Hip Hop Album of the Year in West Michigan as part of “The Jammies” annual awards event. Now after teaming up with fellow artists 40 MacaFrama, Penthouse Shawn, Lady Z, Chris Maybe, and producers Traxsta, Bako L, and Deville Vandross (all forming the MPK collective) he has stated “I have no plans on slowing down on music, we’re a family and we’re just getting started. This video felt like the perfect way to kick that right off”.
