The last thing you might expect from a collaboration between hardcore punk band Trash Talk and the Flatbush Zombies is a laid-back cypher session, but that’s exactly what we’ve got here. The Odd Future style has clearly rubbed off on Trash Talk, while the Zombies tone down the energy for three minutes, in what results to a nineties throwback record. The song will live on Converse’s upcoming CONS EP VOL. 1 compilation album. Stream “97.92”  below.

The latest batch of artists confirmed to perform at next month’s absolutely stacked Downtown Music Festival have just been released. The newcomers are Andrew Wyatt (of Miike Snow), Autre Ne Veut, Ryan Hemsworth, Kilo Kish, Ratking, Kingdom feat. Kelela, Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire, Va$htie, and Fat Tony, with even more acts promised before the month is up. If you were wondering, these acts join the already-cemented Black Hippy, Purity Ring, Earl Sweatshirt, Sky Ferreira, DIIV, Palma Violets, Trash Talk, Beach Fossils, Teengirl Fantasy, Inc., Ducktails, Royal Teeth, and Black Dave. This festival is huge, and will be blasting within the walls of the Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Angel Orensanz, Pianos, Cake Shop, Tammany Hall, Element, Capitale, Rockwood Music Hall and more. Starting in NY, the Festival will be hitting up Phiadelphia, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Denver and Las Vegas, with specialized lineups for each unique city. Last week Odd Future announced their highly anticipated Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia Live.

On September 30, attendees can expect performances from Tyler, the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, The Internet, Trash Talk and special yet-unannounced guests. There will also be “games, rides, prizes and food hand-picked by Odd Future.”
