Fetty Wap Announces Debut Album

Hitting the industry by storm, Fetty Wap has built a strong foundation in no time at all. From joints such as “Trap Queen“ to “My Way,” it is clear that the trapper takes No Days Off when it comes down to the music. Luckily for fans, a debut album is now on the horizon, set to drop September 25th. Revealing this info via ABC News, Fetty Wap confirmed: “I’m just waiting for it to get mixed and mastered. The album been done for like two months now.” Not only are we anticipating a concrete project, but apparently he has “something big planned” with Drizzy. We look forward to additional surprises in the months ahead.

Ed Sheeran & The Roots Cover “Trap Queen”

Known more for his pop audience, English singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran is slowly building up a following in the hip-hop community as well, especially with his recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.

In this particular clip, Ed stops by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and teams up with The Roots for a hilarious, yet really good, cover of Fetty Wap’s infectious hit, “Trap Queen”.

“Trap Queen” is one of the year’s biggest hits and has put New Jersey’s Fetty Wap on the map, and has inspired some big-time remixes. French Montana hopped on the initial remix, then Fabolous joined French and Fetty for something even more official. It also happens to be Rihanna’s favorite song when she was asked during an interview what is she bumpin’ lately. Now we get another remix and this time it comes from another Coke Boy, Chinx. Fetty Wap‘s “Trap Queen” has been out for quite sometime, but now it’s getting a second breathe of life thanks to a wave of remixes that have been released over the last couple of weeks. Following in French Montana and Fabolous‘ steps, Shy Glizzy jumps on the catchy anthem. The Glizzy Gang representative details his trap queen’s loyalty with lines like “Keep that chopper at her house, yeah she don’t touch it ‘cause she scared, And I call her every time I gotta bust a n***a’s head.”

Glizzy is riding high off the release of his DJ Drama hosted Law 3: Now Or Never mixtape. With features and production from Migos, Bobby Shmurda, Young Dolph, Zaytoven, and Young Chop, the 15 track collection is a must listen.
