Los Angeles resident by way of East St. Louis artist Tommy Swisher has released a dope single titled “Heart Away.” This single has already generated 26K plays on Spotify and counting. As he is preparing for his new project It’s About Time 2 this Summer, this release is right on time. Having performed this year on Fox Soul in Los Angles during the Tammie Mac Late Night Show this emcee has what it takes to make it big time. Also Tommy surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify for his hit single ‘Fall For Me,’ that’s produced by Grammy Award winning producer Jim Jonsin.

As Swisher has a vast love for the game of basketball, this release is a play on the last name of NBA Legend Penny Hardaway. Tommy stated “This song is about craving financial stability, as I’m sure we all do, not only for ourselves but for the ones who depend on us. It’s also about staying focused while your grinding & not letting lust & wants slow you down.” Great topic if you ask me. The hook is really great & I love when it gets to “Ball Harder just like Hardaway”.

As Penny Hardaway is NBA royalty, this is a great way to pay homage to one of Swisher’s favorite athletes. The raw melody paired with the East St. Louis original tone of voice is a match made in heaven. If you enjoy good music, you will fall in love with the musical styles of Tommy Swisher.

East St. Louis Hip Hop artist Tommy Swisher, has released a fire new record titled “Snow“. Featuring Kodie Shane that were released Friday, October 18^th. Written in 2015, the Los Angeles native serves up and impressive record that takes his talent to new heights.

As he takes a more serious approach to his music, this is by far his best work to date. Inspired by a girl he knew who spiraled out of control on drugs, he talks about the pain he feels, knowing that he played a role in her downfall. By linking up superstar Kodie Shane, Swisher was able to create a masterpiece that feels your ears with nothing but raw vibes.

East St. Louis native Tommy Swisher recently released his first single of 2019 titled “For You“. Featuring fellow rising star Bali Baby, his current sound is taking him further than ever before in his career. Tommy is establishing himself in all corners of music, taking the west coast music scene by storm. The most impressive thing about this emcee is his diversity in lyrics, and melodies. You will get a chance to see how much he has developed as an artist on this new release.

Produced by Brad Jennings, the uptempo beat, creates harmony over Swisher’s pure vocals. You will hear the LA based artist expressing his love and affection for a particular woman in his life. By doing so, he gives his fans a more vulnerable side to his music and creativity. To take this single to the next level, he recruited rising star Bali Baby who appears on the hook. Some notable lyrics from “For You” are “never can express the feeling, but damn it girl I love the feeling and that a** so big and that face so cute I might give you a couple of children.”

Coming off of his most successful year yet in 2018, Swisher is looking to continue this momentum. His next project I Just Want To Be Happy will have guest features of Mike G from ODD Future, Khodie Shade and production from Money Montage, Brad Jennings and Grammy Award producer Jim Jonsin.
