Arts and entertainment collide together to create the high profile company Vfiles, a place known for their development and progression in the fashion world.  Currently the Vfiles team is hard at work putting the final touches on their life changing Vfiles Runway 8 contest extravaganza.

This star filled event features an array of arts from some of the most talented up and coming models, designers stylist photographers make-up artist and hairstylist from around the world.  In the past, Vfiles Runway events have been everything and more showcasing new top fashions like no other in front of a packed top noch crowd.

Artists such as Migos, Young Thug, Playboi Carti and Fashion Icon Naomi Campbell have all been apart of  Vfiles Runway.  As we get closer and closer to New York Fashion week Vfiles have announced that fashion Icon Tommy Hilfiger will be Mentoring for the Runway event also they have revealed some of the designers talking part in this event. The excitement grows so without any delay check out some of the outstanding artist taking part in this  mind-blowing event.

1. Designer : Daniëlle Cathari from Amsterdam Fashion Institude Womenswear Designer

2. Designer: Snow Xue Gao . A women’s wear fashion brand base in New York.

3. Designier : STRATEASCARLUCCI  A Creative collaboration between designers Peter Strateas and Mario-Luca Carlucci. Mens and Womens collections hailing from Melbourne, Australia

Tommy Hilfiger has been a brand to create trends and controversies across boards. However, the bright colors, though not as primary is very reminiscent of this past trend that is about 15 to 20 years old. There are clear differences, including the black lines separating the colors, the thicker and more expensive material, as well as all of the new bells and whistles The North Face includes in all of their high performance gear. But the Tommy jacket could have been a bit of inspiration to the duo when creating their own version. (Possibly the li’l cousin of Tommy?)

Moving on, tomorrow morning in store at Supreme’s NYC, L.A., London and Paris locations and online, the brand duo is set to drop new items in the collection including the “Steep Tech Crewneck,” short sleeve t-shirts and 6-panel hats that match the jacket seen above, hoodies, and pants. These items are set to coordinate with the vivid colors seen above. 

Because this is not Supreme x The North Face’s first rodeo it is nice to see the difference they bring to every season’s style. This collection will be the 16th collaboration since they started in 2007 and are only rising in popularity. Though Supreme does not only team up with The North Face, their collections seem to be the most widely known and accepted among their skateboarding fans as well as their fashion savvy ones. This dynamic duo doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon.

If you take a glance on your local street corner lately, it would seem that the ’90s are back. Tommy-Hil-rockin’ hip-hop cats, free flowing curls amongst the girls, and an overall throwback vibe are out in full effect.  The only difference is there’s less money to go around and we walk around attached to our cellular devices.

If you listen to Grandmilly’s previous work, he’s always had a pretty nice flow. His wordplay is seeminlgly effortless as he cruises over this speedy soul sample and traditional boom-bap drums. It’s as if he’s just rhyming the thoughts swimming through his mind. In the video, directed by +Visual Aid, he and his crew showcase an ordinary day in the life, which is a strong contrast those spending so much energy over-developing their image these days.
