Tink dries her tears and puts emotions aside to handle business with her latest single “Different.” Tink released the new single earlier this week (Dec. 5), announcing the date via Twitter. Recently separated from Timbaland‘s Mosley Music Group, she took a chance at fate, hitting reset, revamping, and taking control of her career.

Traveling the independent circuit, she recently released her latest EP, Pain & Pleasure, earlier this year through Mikkey Halsted‘s Machine Entertainment. She brings a sensitive and softer touch to her single which opens up the listener to receive more of her, what she has to say, while empathizing with her needs.

Tink continues to make moves following her break-away from Timbaland‘s Mosely Music Group. For her latest, the Chicago artist delivers a new visual for “M.I.A.,” directed by Samien Sandoval. The clip — which also features The Chi‘s Bart Fitzpatrick — sees her and her significant other on the lam, living life in Mexico (Tink alludes to a Bonnie & Clyde theme while speaking on the release to Noisey).

Timbaland’s protegee, Tink, is back dropping two new tracks: “MC Hammer Freestyle,” and “Commitment.”

“MC Hammer Freestyle,” is produced by DonisBeats, and is a fire upbeat track. The Chicago singer and spitter let’s everyone know that there is no competition and that “you can’t touch this.”

The second track, produced by DJ Wes, “Commitment,” is slowed down and shows off Tink’s vocal skills. She sings and spits about a budding relationship… in which it sounds as if she’s ready to settle down. Singing lyrics like “You got my heart and I hope you don’t f**k it up / I don’t really let my guard down anymore / Last love hit me and I’m still pretty sore.”

Tink is currently preparing for her debut album, “Think Tink,” which is set to release in 2017.

Tink has been ducked off after her release Winter Diary’s 3 last July. She has put out a few tracks last fall and a music video for “Medicine” but overall her camp has been pretty mute. But the Chicago kid is back –with a vengeance– with her new track “Circle The Block” with the help of her mentor, Timbaland.

“We’re about to crush these n***as and show these n***as the new wave,”

Timbo utters in the intro promising something “epic” in 2016 before his 20-year-old protege talks her ish all over the banging beat. That intro may have been stamp that Tink’s debut album, Think Tink, will be ready for release this year.

Although, Ms. Tink is one of the few new school emcees unafraid to take her rhymes to the conscious side, “Circle The Block” is a reminder not to sleep on the kid. The “Somebody” artist comes back hard as ever, circling the competition spitting lines like,

“Dogs with me, no Charlie Brown/Biting h*es getting exposed because they can’t make it with they own sound/You the middle man and I am the plug.”

And

“Seven years since Mike died, what better time to pop a h*e?/Any n***a wanna run game, put a dot up on him like a domino”

Ohhh, it’s lit. We are definitely digging this aggressive side of her. Whether this track will be on her debut album or not, this motor-mouth street flow should be a hit and keep her fans satisfied while we wait for her debut.
