“New York’s Very Own,” rapper Joey BM is taking things, “Slow” with his latest track. Not only is this pace apparent through his lyrics depicting indulgences in greenery and liqs, but it is present in his grind, as well. Following his dreams of finding success in the realm of hip hop, the rapper has been consistently putting out music and gaining fans along the way for years. While the Bronx artist is a NY native, he has fans from all around the country and even internationally.  This stems from his knack for connecting with potential fans in the tourist mecca of the Big Apple: Times Square. Unlike most rappers in the Square who make it obvious that their only concern is selling their tape,  Joey takes the time to talk to soon-to-be fans and makes sure that he creates a lasting impression, which is apparent in the excitement he leaves them with. Rapping for visitors and selling them his music has helped this artist create his fanbase, one fan at a time.

And no, the BM does not stand for ‘Bowel Movement.’ Nor ‘Baby Mama,’ but ‘Big Music.’ In case you were confused…

After some clips surfaced recently, Kendrick Lamar and TDE decided to give in and drop the full version of Lamar’s ‘King Kunta‘ video. But it came in a way so Kendrick-esque as possible. The rapper premiered the visual in Time Square in downtown New York City. ‘King Kunta’ is the second visual from his new album ‘TPAB‘.
