Tia Nomore hails from Oakland, and is often compared to other female artists who came out the Bay, like Kehlani and Kamaiyah. In May, she dropped Halloween, a 15 track album featuring artists like Iamsu! of HBK and Show Banga. Produced by Hella Rawh!, her new track is high energy, and includes Tia’s signature intense and stinging lyrics. She is definitely an artist who holds her own on any hip-hop track. As she works to make space for herself among other Bay Area and international hip-hop artists, she holds true to her raw style. This track is no different, and with every new song she produces and puts out, she makes a statement about the future of hip-hop music and her place in it.

With the release of her Holloween EP, Tia has really defined herself as an artist.  As a young girl in a city that has spawned so many legendary artists, Tia Nomore definitely has big shoes to fill, but you can tell she’s up for the challenge when you listen to any of her work because it uncovers her unique character and progressive approach.

Following the unveiling of her official lead single off the aforementioned project, the Exxclusive-produced “Camry’s,” Tia returns with the first visuals from the opus. Showcasing the ability to create an unwrinkled collaboration, Nomore rounds up HBK Gang members Iamsu! and CJ for the official Gadget-directed music video for “The Opposition.”

Honing in on a topic that is relatable to so many, Tia explained, “‘The Opposition’ record were facts which addressed vultures trying to merge in my lane, it was like me saying if you gon’ pick a side, then ride. I felt something needed to be said to the wave watchers and the result was priceless. Iamsu! had a story to tell, so we made it cohesive.”

Bay Area artist, Tia Nomore has been carving out room for herself in the music industry with her innovative aesthetic, expressive technique, and well defined flow. Her new project, Holloween, is a testament to Tia Nomore’s well developed style and how she continues to evolve the game, not only on throughout California, but across the map.

Tia’s latest single “Camry’s” is produced by Exclusive, who has produced for the likes of Too $hort, Iamsu!, and more. Lifted from Tia’s Holloween EP, the official single provides a glimpse into her ability to float over spirited, melodic production that manipulates the familiar Bay Area sound into a distinct, personalized sound of her own. Many young artists aren’t able to cement themselves in the game, but Tia’s delivery on her new single proves that she’s a force to be reckoned with as she champions a progressive sound from her region for not only women, bull all rappers alike.
